Heroes Church

Brief Description

Heroes Church seeks to build Christ-centered communities of imperfect people who love the city, the country, and the world.

Our two regular events are:

1. Sunday worship, 10-11:30 am at 2/F Active Fun building located at 9th Ave. Corner 28th St. in Bonifacio Global City.

2. Lighthouse – what we call our community group, which is now run weekly in 3 locations and days:

a. Wednesday nights at Acacia Estates
b. Thursday nights at Shangri-La Mall
c. Friday nights at Serendra

We also have 2 special interest groups meeting:

i. Young adults every Sunday after service
ii. Heroines / women’s group every other Monday night

Our annual events include the Heroes Church Camp every last weekend of August (Saturday-Monday), and our Thanksgiving Faith and Work conference every last week of November.

We are blessed to be part of the BreadCom satellite network. We are also internationally related to the Redeemer City to City network of Tim Keller and Redeemer Presbyterian Church of New York City.

Pastor Zuriel Bernardino

Brief Information about the Pastor

Zuriel Bernardino
– in 2008, he took an intensive church planting course in New York City, USA under the Redeemer City to City program of Tim Keller and Redeemer Presbyterian Church of New York City.
– in 2010, he was ordained Reverend by the Christian Reformed Church of the Philippines
– in 2012, he graduated with honors at the Asian Theological Seminary in 2012 with a degree of Masters of Divinity in Biblical Studies and also received the Excellence in Expository Preaching Award as well as the Excellence in Church Planting Award for Heroes Church
– in 2014, he married Dr. Hannah Mae Tan from Davao City and by the end of the heart they moved to live and work in Bonifacio Global City
– in 2016, he went to the Netherlands to take up post-graduate theological studies on joy and suffering

Outside the church, he is membership director of Mensa Philippines, and also fulfills the role of BreadCom’s Chief Operating Servant.
