BFH Church Prayer Retreat
Touch of Glory Prayer Mountain, Antipolo City

God is Great! Friday night the 26th of January, an advance party went up to the Prayer mountain for a time of prayer & orientation in preparation for the next day’s retreat. At 6:30am the next day, members and non-members of Breadcom arrived in Shang to take a private bus going to Antipolo. At around 8 to 8:30 am, people started coming and registered according to their age group. Each group was named after Bible characters who were known to be people of prayer. After each one has registered, time was spent in breakfast and fellowship. We had boiled eggs, wheat bread, salabat, and boiled banana.

We started our worship at around 8:45am, the Lord brought 160+ people to attend our retreat. We had a wonderful time of worship. Pastor Nomer taught on How to Unleash the Power of Prayer. After the word, we had individual time with the Lord in the different areas around the compound. Although the place was not exclusively occupied by our group, we all had the opportunity to spend our special time with the Lord in the Prayer Cells, Huts, Garden, & grounds. The Lord had truly granted the desires of our hearts to meet with Him and just bask in His presence. Some just spent longer time in the prayer cells and came out refreshed and recharged. God longs for us to commune with Him.

At around noontime, we had our sumptuous lunch (still Daniel menu) of nachos with salsa, bananas, crackers, & wheat bread. A time of bonding and fellowship again after which we had our afternoon corporate worship, group prayer time and prayer for one another. We ended our time through corporate prayer of revival for our church and prayer for the Nation. Pastor Nomer was led to pray for our children. Children ages 4-20 were requested to stand. 2 of our youth had the opportunity to represent the group and thanked their parents for their unconditional love, patience, and care. A mom from the group also represented all the parents, released her love and concern for her children. Pastor Nomer ended with a prayer of gratitude, repented in behalf of the parents, released forgiveness and blessings to our children. It was truly a time of REFRESHING in the presence of the Lord. It is our prayer that we would all continue to be intimate with Jesus, be transformed into His likeness so that we will continue to SHINE as His Lights and affect our families, communities, nation, & the world. To God be the Glory!
