PANGASINAN OUTREACHES
Two major events were observed in our outreaches in Pangasinan. The church in Dagupan celebrated its anniversary last February 24. The church is ably-led by Pastor Louise Garcia. The church-planting area in San Carlos City held its inaugural service last March 2. Through the initiative of Pastor Norman Florendo, a place was recently secured where the regular Sunday service will be held. |

JOY OLID CONSECRATION

For the first quarter of the year, the midweek service topic was dubbed Ways of Wisdom from the Book of Proverbs. Dr. Nomer Bernardino covered topics we ordinarily encounter in our daily lives, and what the Bible say about these concerns. |
LEADERS TRAINING
The Leadership Training Series conducted for two months was concluded last March 18, 2008. It was participated by candidate office bearers, ministry servants and some council members. The training was aimed at orienting the incoming office bearers and ministry servants on the Breadcom and the Christian Reformed Church. The following topics were discussed: Our church governance, Ministry of Elders and Ministry of Deacons, Doctrinal Distinctives of the Reformed Faith, Reformed Worship, Speaking and praying in public and Operations Manual: Policies and Guidelines. |
HAGGAI PLEDGING
We are still looking for a place in the Pasig-Mandaluyong area where we can set up our permanent community center. We are envisioning a center where people not only worship during Sundays but also cater to the needs of the community during ordinary days. The center will be home to street children, activity center for the elderly, gimmick area for the youth and venue for community development activities. Last January we had a pledging session where members were asked to give their pledges for the Lot and Building Fund. A total of P8,908,900.00 were committed to be given within the year by 77 members and 11 non-members. These gifts are broken down as follows: |
87 individuals giving one-time donation amounting to P692,100.00
3 individuals will lend the church their personal money amounting to P230,000.00
1 member will lend credit line for the church amounting to P6,000,000.00
