Why witnessing for Jesus is much more glorious?
We are ambassadors of Jesus
Now all these things are from God,who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of
reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself,not counting their trespasses
against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ,
as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
(2 Corinthians 5:18-20)
Witnessing for Jesus brings many to Righteousness
In a world corrupted by sin, the Good News of salvation show people the way to God. Sharing about God's Love gives the sinner a chance to correct his wayward ways and become His righteousness in Christ Jesus.
Witnessing for Jesus brings Freedom
Sin ensnares the sinner. Sin brings punishment and death. As we talk about the abundant Life that is in Jesus Christ, the hearers and those who will respond to His knock can enjoy liberty from guilt, condemnation, hopelessness, misery, and everything that pulls him down. Only in Jesus Christ is there true liberty and life.
Witnessing for Jesus brings about Transformation
As we witness for Christ Jesus, we are likened into His character. We become like little Jesus here on earth. Sharing and teaching to repent, be baptized and do what He did. Our old nature has passed away and the new nature has come. As we witness, the hearers and the takers of the Good News are themselves transformed. For every believer in Christ Jesus are changed inwardly and outwardly. It is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me.
